My latest purchase: The Bucket Bag
from Zara

Finally, I have found one which I like and which is at a reasonable price!
I was looking for a non-black, casual bag and it is Job Done.

If like me you follow some of the popular fashion bloggers around the world on instagram, you will know of THE Bucket Bag craze and I am pleased that finally I have my own bucket bag now ... even if it is not the Mansur Gavriel one!  :)

Brief History of the Bucket Bag
The original model by Mansur Gavriel was launched in early 2013. The Mansur Gavriel’s drawstring bucket bag, available in a range of colours, is one of the first ‘it bags’ to emerge since the recession and the story behind its success is the stuff of fashion start-up fairytales.
You can find the whole story by clicking here ( article from The and it is worth a read.

I cannot believe that we are already on the last week of February!

I am catching up on my blogging today after some rest days because exactly a week ago, I had surgery and had to stay at hospital for a few days. The good news is that I got home in time for Chinese New Year and was very lucky to have my loved ones looking after me once I got home.

Most importantly, I am all well now and almost fully recovered, except that I need to let the incisions heal properly and this process may take a few more weeks ...

I'd like to say a Special thank you to my Bestie who took the time to 'supervise' my convalescence and keeping things happy and bright while I was stuck on the sofa for a few days.
Sweetie: words are not enough to describe how wonderful you are and how grateful I am to have you in my life. I love you so much!

In preparation for the Chinese New Year Festival, hubby and I headed to the Columbia Road Flower Market last week end to get some Cherry Blossoms for our home. This is usually a tradition that families in Hong Kong do (apparently) and for us, it was our first time doing it.

Having a "Throwback Thursday" time.

Exactly a year ago, hubby and I were in Brussels for a romantic weekend getaway. It was so fun!
As I'm sitting here this morning looking out of the window, I wish I had booked another trip this year at this time because looking at this grey London sky is getting slightly depressing and taking the Eurostar is such a quick and easy way for a getaway ...
Let's see where we can go next!

In the meantime, let's reminisce on last year's February Weekend in Brussels...

02 . 02 . 2012

It's been three years since hubby and I said "I Do" at our civil wedding ceremony held in London.
How time flies...

To celebrate our Leather Wedding Anniversary, we treated ourselves to a lovely fine dining experience "en tete-a-tete" at Roux at The Landau at The Langham Hotel.
