A Beautiful Lunch By : Michelin Star Chef Jason Atherton

For our very first visit at Pollen Street Social, my foodie buddy N and I decided to go for the "Menu du Jour" for our lunch.
We were wonderfully surprised with complimentary 'amuses-bouches' served before our meal on a two tiered platter (like those you get on afternoon teas) and they surely were delicious!
Chorizo Muffins and Olive Squares
Golden Crispy Churros
Honey and Truffle Oil dipping for the Churros
Then our Lunch properly began! :) I shall let you enjoy the pictures.
White bean soup, confit rabbit croquette, tarragon and English mustard
Slow cooked Goosnargh egg, smoked eel, celery and truffles

Pan fried fillet of Cornish Cod, new season garlic risotto and cockles
New season garlic risotto served separately
Braised West Country Ox cheek, roasted parsnips and potato mash and turnips tops
It was a wonderful lunch for sure, and the best was yet to come. Once we finished our main course, the restaurant host, who was so friendly and chatting away with us, recommended that we have our dessert from the dessert counter and we were so glad we listened to him!
